About the Program
This program prepares students for a supervisory or management trainee position at a lodging property by teaching them the various operational areas of a full-service hotel. It intends to develop in the students the required organizational skills and knowledge that will allow them to be responsible for making sure that all areas of a hotel environment run smoothly and work together successfully.
How Are You Going to Develop New Skills?
The instructors implement a project driven teaching method, which makes the learning experience more attractive and efficient. The program also prepares students through practical exercises, theoretical and experiential learning strategies.
Field trips and group work are planned in order to provide skills development, improvement of competencies and attitude necessary to build qualified individuals, capable of managing the growing and increasingly sophisticated hospitality operations. In addition to the program outline, the students will receive a solid training of critical skills such as problem-solving, presentation, communication, team dynamics and analytical abilities.
