IBT College is pleased to announce a special training opportunity for Jamaican hospitality and tourism workers, trainers and educators. The two-week program is designed to upskill corporate employees who have an interest in improving their leadership skills. The program includes off-campus business engagements with visits and workshops in Canadian companies and with Canadian business leaders.
Concluding the program will be a Tradeshow Expo showcasing Jamaica as a tourist destination. Candidates in the program will showcase sales and marketing strategies for hospitably and tourism that they have learned.

The training will be provided in Canada at IBT College’s campus in Toronto.

Rammond Smith Asc (Hons), Bsc. Governor General of Jamaica Awardee (2021). Mr. Smith has work with the Ministry Of Education Youth & Information for 6 years from 2016-2022 in the Capacity as Technical Development Officer with responsibility for school supervision in the Technical areas. During his tenure at the Ministry of Education Youth & Information, Mr. Smith has worked directly in two regions of the Ministry of Education in Jamaica Region 4&5. As the Technical Development Officer for Region 5. Mr. Smith was in charge of all High Schools in Region 5 doing the Career Advancement Programme.
Mr. Smith has worked extensively with other partners in Developing Training Programmes for teachers and Students in Jamaica both locally and internationally.
